Chess
It’s probably the best strategy game.
Rules are simple, there are 9 different figures, each of them is allowed simple movements. The objective of the game is even easier, just take your opponents king for victory.
Movements have changed over time, it seems chess originated in Asia and moved into Europe through arabs in Al-Andalus.
One of the earliest books is known as “Libro de los Juegos” (Book of Games, s XIII) kept in the library of the monastery os San Lorenzo del escorial.
Modern rules were finished only at the end of the 19th century but most of them date from XV century.
At the end of the 20th century the introduction of computers opened a new world for chess, it “soon” became clear computers would overtake humans playing. It also helped humans to improve theory (end game specially) and we probably play now better chess than ever in history thanks to computers.
I’d say the best chess players around the world now stand only a 50% chance of beating a 10£ computer program running in a standard PC.
In this section we will post chess problems for resolution, I’d advice users to send me the solution (or just write them down) to allow other readers to try out the problems. Every fortnight solutions will be published.
Problem 1: White to play and win (difficulty low)

Hoy voy a hablaros de una película que jamás ganará un Oscar, que quizás tenga los peores diálogos del mundo, pero con la que no parareis de reir desde el pincipio hasta el final y que algún día se convertirá en una de esas películas de leyenda. Esta película es Shaolin Soccer
En resumen la película va de lo que os podéis imaginar. Un grupo de expertos en Kung-Fu Saholin pretenden extender la práctica del Kung-Fu haciendo ver a la gente que el Kung-Fu es muy útil para la vida cotidiana. Tras algunos fracasos (alguno tan memorable como el peor dúo de canto que jamás haya oído) optan por jugar al fútbol. Y prácticamente este es todo el argumento de la película (desde luego no ganarán un Oscar al mejor guión)
A partir de ahí es como estar viendo "Oliver y Benji" en imagenes reales (los efectos especiales son bastante buenos) y sin campos de fútbol kilométricos. Por supuesto al final acaban ganando el torneo al "Equipo del Mal" (¿os he comentado que no ganarían un Oscar al mejor guión?) cuyos jugadores toman superdrogas que les hace tan fuertes como a "los buenos".
Hay dos momentos que son verdaderamente dignos de ver una y otra vez: el primer partido de entrenamiento que juegan (en el que empiezan a desubrir sus técnicas Shaolin) y el primer partido del torneo. En este último no es que hagan nada nuevo en especial (nada que no hayan hecho ya), pero la cara que se le pone al capitán del equipo contrario cuando le cascan los dos primeros goles es digna de elogio.
En fin camaradas que si queréis pasar una buena tarde de risas con los colegas no dejéis pasar la oportunidad y ved esta película, que seguro no os defraudará.

PD: Aunque no os lo creáis está película se sacó de una obra de teatro de igual nombre, y la cuál está teniendo en China un éxito similar al de Cats en Europa.
